Who we are, what we stand for
In a world where so many people can't be bothered, we're proud to be the healthcare company that can.
We believe in helping people access affordable healthcare and delivering exceptional personal customer service. We have over three million customers, and help nearly four million people, including 20,000 companies who choose us as their healthcare provider. Simplyhealth now also includes Denplan, the UK's largest provider of dental plans, which helps nearly two million people to access dental care and treatment.
You may have known us as HSA, BCWA, HealthSure, LHF, Totally Active, Remedi or Medisure. Our name has changed, but what's not altered is ouraward winning commitment to do the right thing by our customers.
Long term commitment
With over a 140 years of history in the healthcare market, our mission has always been to provide people with affordable healthcare, whatever the financial climate.
We're committed to our mutual values and supporting our communities. With no shareholders we only invest our profits into running the business or distribute them to worthy causes.
How can we be bothered?
We're the UK's biggest cash plan provider and a major player in the private health insurance and mobility markets. We don't just strive to do things quickly and efficiently, we aim to show every customer that we can be bothered.
- Our private health insurance customers are assigned a personal contact to help them throughout their claims. Plus, there's no claim form
- We always try to avoid automated phone systems, so you can speak to someone in one of our UK call centres, not an answer phone
- You can call us free from UK landlines
- Most of the 10,000 cash and dental plan claims we settle every day can be paid directly into a bank account within a few working days of receipt
- Most customers can register for a secure online account to check claims and find copies of their policy documents
- 80% of our customers would recommend Simplyhealth to a friend (Source: 2010 Simplyhealth Customer Satisfaction Survey)
